In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets many times and in many ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us through his Son, who he appointed to represent him all things, and by means of him he made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his life, sustaining all things by his powerful word. Having prepared for purification from sin, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. So he became superior to the angels, just as he had a name greater than that of them.

It is not the angels that he has placed under the world to come, of which we are speaking. But there is one place where one testified:

What is man, that thou art mindful of them?

son of man, that thou visitest him?

Thou hast made them a little lower than the angels;

you have crowned them with glory and honor

and put all things under their feet. '
